Governor Urges Use Javanese language Every Thursday
Central Java Governor H Ganjar Pranowo SH ask SKPDs ranks of Central Java Province, regents / mayors in Central Java, and Central Java province enterprises leaders to use the Javanese language every Thursday in their respective working environment. According to the Governor, the use of the Javanese language back encouraged to keep and maintain the sustainability of the language, literature, and Java script are becoming an important factor for the confirmation of the identity of regions and communities of Central Java. The use of Javanese language as well as to recognize the values of aesthetic, ethical, moral, and spiritual contained in Javanese culture to be utilized as a coaching and development of national culture. In addition, utilizing the language, literature, and Java script can be a vehicle for the development of character and noble character.
"For effective implementation, I hope that the ranks of SKPD, regents / mayors, and leaders of enterprises using the Javanese language every Thursday in the work environment. Javanese language is used for verbal communication, "said the Governor.
Nevertheless, the official scripts published on Thursday still use Indonesian. For formal occasions and official / ceremonial held on Thursday, could use Indonesian and or using Javanese language.
The use of Javanese language is set in Central Java Governor Regulation No. 55 Year 2014 dated August 22, 2014, on the Amendment of the Central Java Governor Regulation No. 57 Year 2013 on Guidelines for the Implementation of Central Java Provincial Regulation No. 9 of 2012 on Language, Literature, and Java Script . In the Governor Regulation explained Java language is not only used as a language of information, communication, and education in the community as in religious sermons, meetings RT / RW, customary institutions, traditions and activities of civil society organizations (as set out in Article 7), but also used in the work environment of Central Java provincial government agencies and district / city, as well as other institutions in Central Java in informal situations (article 7A).
